Absolutely delicious & healthy protein bites.
I have a lot of food intolerance issues where what I eat makes me really tired, but these are not only good for me to snack on as a sugar craving but they’re also great for an energy boost.
The best part? They’re super easy to make. I originally found a recipe on Pinterest (you’ll probably notice that a lot) and decided that I needed to add a few extra things for a little extra boost.
This recipe is using cups and spoons but let me know and I’ll try and change it to grams for you, or it may be faster to use a google search for conversion.
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder, I used a vegan vanilla flavour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 100g Almonds (measured then blended into powder)
- 1tsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp flaxseed
Once made I put the mixture into the fridge for a little bit so it’s a little easier to mould into balls and is slightly less sticky. 20 minutes should do it.
